Our History
Since 1997, MissionFirst has helped its partners to build or preserve over 1,600 units of high quality affordable rental housing around the nation, with a total development cost of over $200 million. MissionFirst's current pipeline includes over 580 units with a total development cost of over $100 million.
MissionFirst is committed to the principle of providing affordable housing in the District of Columbia, where demand is far outpacing supply in the face of the recent real estate boom. Located in the Dupont Circle, MissionFirst has served as the developer or consultant for nine completed affordable housing projects in D.C., with a total of 771 units and a total development cost of $94 million.

Downtown Washington, D.C.:
- Golden Rule Plaza (119 units - in partnership with Bible Way Church, completed 2003)
- Golden Rule Apartments (183 units - in partnership with Bible Way Church, completion expected 2008)
- Golden Rule Center (planned mixed income/mixed use - in partnership with Bible Way Church, completion expected 2010)
Fort Lincoln:
- Wesley House (127 units - in partnership with Union Wesley Housing Development Corporation, completion expected 2008)
Bellevue:
- Trinity Plaza (56 units - in partnership with Far SW-SE Community Development Corporation, completion expected 2009)
Columbia Heights:
- Haven House (29 units - in partnership with the National Equity Fund, completed 2000)
- Meridian Manor (34 units - in partnership with Mi Casa, completed 2002)
Anacostia:
- J.W. King Seniors Center (74 units - in partnership with First Rock Baptist Church Foundation, completed 2006)
